Visited 2 plus the brewery

Watermill, Ings, Kendal. Where I bought a nip of "Uncle Igor" (supposedly the worlds strongest beer at 23.5%!)
Inn at Whitewell, Whitewell, Lancashire.
Hook Norton Brewery trip. More years ago than I wish to remember!

"Other guides are more food-led, but The Good Pub Guide has a lot of association with the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA),
making it focused soley on pubs and all the elements that a pub encompasses."

Wrong!!! The Good Pub Guide has nothing to do with CAMRA.

The CAMRA guide is The Good Beer Guide and they're certainly not going to be CAMRA pub of the year as they aren't even in it. :muppet::muppet:

Been to The Horseguards:definitely not my pub of the year. Typical of the GPB.

I see the Caterer have amended the mistake of the pub landlady (probably after a few hundred "corrections" :D:D)

“Other guides are more food-led, but The Good Pub Guide is focused solely on pubs and all the elements that a pub encompasses. We are a food-led outlet, but the Horse Guards Inn is a pub, so it’s nice that The Good Pub Guide gives us credit for that.”
