G2 Brewing-Otava IPA 4.5%abv:Lovely straw coloured beer from a brewery new but close to me.Assertive hops:blackcurrants with hay sweetness. My BOTW

BOTW goes to Marble Built to Fall ,an exceptional American Pale Ale from Craft Beer Co. ,Leather Lane ,it is vying for Beer of the Year.

Next week another slow boat through hipsterville,some keg but hopefully quality all the way.

Not much of a choice from local JDWs but all were in good nick:-

Hog's Back Surrey Nirvana 4.0%
Portobello VPA 4.0%
Salopian Oracle 4.0%
Hackney Best 4.4%
Hackney American Pale Ale 4.5%
Loddon Bamboozle 4.8%
Wadworth Fort Session IPA 5.0%
Greene King Abbot 5.0%

The bes is the Salopian Oracle in the E10 Drum for £2.19 despite being a bit warmn.

A bit of a quiet week for me with a lack of WOW beers.

Best of the bunch was Bowness Bay Swallow Gold.

A 3.9% pleasant session beer tried in The Baum several times.:cheers:

Another fairly lacklustre week, but BOTW is Lacons Legacy 4.4% - a Great Yarmouth pale ale served in tiptop condition at The Gate Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/57963/) in Upper Brailes.
