I was in Edinburgh yesterday afternoon and was surprised to find that none of the five pubs visited have been marked as Edinburgh Central even though to me they obviously were (I could tell because there were so many tourists and beggars). Four are marked as New Town and the Lloyds at the Omni Centre shopping centre is Greenside. I looked up New town and it seems to refer to the area North of Princes Street from the time it was built over 200 years ago. I'm not advocating the removal of any areas from pubs but the Edinburgh Central area seems to have been almost completely overlooked. How can the new JDW Booking Office above Waverley Station not be in Edinburgh Central? What do others think?

You're right of course.

Old Town, New Town, West End, Greenside and probably Haymarket should all be Edinburgh Central as well as their current areas.

Please feel free to start adding them. :p

I'll give it a go but it will take a lot of approvals. I've very little spare time at the moment but will do some as soon as I can.
