Can anyone give me some info about this pub?My mum used to be the landlady back in the early 1980's and is keen to revisit but I've heard rumours that it may be closed, can anyone confirm or deny these for me? thanks:)

wow! That was quick thanks for the links , it seems to confirm the rumours that I'd heard, shame that, it was a great old fashioned pub and as the article said it was 'the heart of the village'

Ian (1961) feel free to leave any recommendations for the Lions Den, and in fact Ian (Hopwas), it would be good to submit that article link to the pub (so that you are credited). We leave the closed pubs in the system where reasonable so that people can still comment on how great they were. Hopefully it will promote old friends to show up as well.

My husband took the photo of this pub and it is definitely CLOSED. Seems troubled happened somewhere along the line according to the woman we spoke to,who came out to see what we were taking a photo of,"you should'n't take notice of what they are saying" We left without getting involved
