Could be useful for me on my rare visits to that Lunnon. Is this anything to do with York Tap, or is "Tap" a generic signifier?

Open when I walked past this afternoon. Sadly didn't have time to pop in.

Had a couple at WT yesterday, Kirkstall Dissolution £3.70, and Black Band Porter from same brewery. Generally £3.70-£3.90 for cask, and £5.10-£5.40 for keg. A rather bland space, still smelling 'new', but will be a better venue if meeting in this area than the Hole in the Wall, which has gone right downhill. Apparently didn't open til Friday, as opposed to the advertised Mon 14th. I'm sure it will be hammered early evening during the week. Was surprised that entry is only via Sutton Walk.

Yep, woof! slippery slope followed by Kings Arms, Rose & Crown, Doggets and Blackfriar. Lost my glasses (spectacles) again...
That's me on the left, before having to do it all again for that nightmare on Etihad St yesterday.

Dropped by yesterday, not sure really, it feels rather functional and unfinished inside. The beer was decent if a bit cold and it might have been a better experience if there were any other customers! I felt a bit sorry for the barman who seemed a bit bored. It won't have helped that Thames Water were noisily digging up the path right outside the front.

Went last Friday night.Difficult to read the beer list on the two monitors at each end of the bar.Very busy so you have to fight your way to both ends to see what they have on.Not clear whats cask.Wrongly priced on the moniter for one of the beers I had. Place was very dirty.Big glass windows absolutely filthy.Keg beer too cold. One toilet shared by about 100 people.Seven in the queue before me.Will try again before I rate it.Other than that it was good.

That made me laugh, intentional or not!

Went in last night and pretty much agree with LC, it wasn't overly busy, maybe a bank holiday thing, good beer range but not much else about the place.
