Hampshire and Surrey. Unfortunately my trip to Winchester didn't afford any new pubs.
Palmers-Copper Ale 3.7%abv:I've always had a soft spot for Palmers' beers.Nutty and earthy session bitter. On gravity dispense.
Triple fff-Comfortably Numb 5%abv- Rich copper, great condition.Avuncularily fruity with a long spicy finish. On gravity.
Pilgrim-Surrey Bitter 3.7%abv-Mid brown earthy session bitter.
Phoenix-Brunning and Price Original Bitter 3.8%abv Malty bitter with a long dry finish. Served with a "Northern" creamy head.
Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter 4%abv-Unimpeachable Harvey's.
A toss up between the Harvey's and the Triple fff. Comfortably Numb wins it, my BOTW. Taken at Tichborne Arms (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/64076/)

Not a bad week for this time of year :-

Adnam's Mosaic 4.1%*
Bowland Buster IPA 4.5%*
360 Degree Pacific Red #45 4.5%*
St Austell Proper Job 4.5%*
Black Edge IPA 4.7%*
Nethergate Old Growler 5.0%
Brodie's Black APA 5.0%*
Naylor's Snowstorm 5.0%
Dark Star Festival 5.0%
Jenning's Snecklifter 5.1%
Brodie's Jamaican Stout 5.4%
Hook Norton Twelve Days 5.5%
Acorn Gorlovka Imperial Stout 6.0%*
Greene King Abbot Reserve 6.5%
Dark Star Imperial Stout 10.5%*

I'm going for the Black Edge IPA, a modest strength one but with a commendable bitterness. Tried in the E17 Bell for £3.24 (inc CAMRA discount).

Sparse,
Darkstar Hophead
Wimbledon Special Pale Ale
Otter Winter Warmer
Driftwood Pale Ale
Surrey Hills Shere Drop

Bottles/Tins at home
Brewdog Dead Pony Club
Brewdog Punk IPA
Crafty Dan 13 Guns
Lagunitas IPA

I don't often include home drinking because I don't often drink at home, but due to lack of pub action I have, and BOTW goes to the wonderful Lagunitas IPA.

Managed three pubs, one of which wasn't on PuG but is now pending.

Daleside -- Santa's Progress
Siren Craft -- Undercurrent *
Fountain -- Beer House (brewed on the premises)
Moor -- Confidence
Siren Craft -- Rysing Tide IPA (keg)
Cross Bay -- Sunset (keg)
Freedom -- East India Pale lager (keg)

BOTW goes to Siren Craft Undercurrent ,a fine session ale until it ran out in The Old Fountain

Final week of the year will include london callings London crawl which really should throw up some gems.

The contenders:

Blue Monkey King Kong Merrily
Everards Tiger
Everards Old Original
St Austell Jolly Holly
Alsace

The King Kong Merrily was again good but BOTW was Everards Old Original. A well kept pint, festive and smooth enough to disappear swiftly on Christmas Day.

Tried to stick to black beers this week just for a change as I have noticed I seem to find pale and hoppy a bit pale and soapy recently
all were good or better
Twickenham -sticky toffee stout
bad seed -expresso stout
bbno -coffee porter
big smoke -dark wave porter
southwark -potters field porter
marble -American porter
weird beard -dark hopfer
weird beard -decadence stout
fullers -London porter
but I couldn't resist trying BOTW
wild weather-take no prisoners ipa 5.5
Last year I would have walked past any beer from Wild Weather but this year I have had loads of good ones.

Vocation Cloak & Dagger in The Baum of course.

A super smooth oatmeal stout and dangerously drinkable at a whopping 5.9%.
