A short visit to Lichfield and a Black Country Winter Ale tour produced a good but intoxicating list.

Redwillow Seamless 3.6%*
Holden's Black Country Mild 3.7%*
Oakham Raucous Reindeer 4.0%
Derventio Mrs Claus 4.0%
Sarah Hughes Green Gold 4.2%*
Moorhouse Winter Looms 4.2%
Caledonian Winter Brau 4.3%
Celt Experience Lost Antlers 4.4%*
Greene King Fireside 4.5%
Brentwood Winter Warmer 4.7%
Joules Old Number Six 4.8%
Beoowulf Blizzard 5.0%
Merry Miner Coal Face Porter 5.0%*
Greene King Abbot 5.0%
Exe Valley Xmas 5.0%
Hook Norton AFO 5.4%
Thornbridge Baize 5.5%*
Salopian / Tiny Rebel Catatonic 5.7%*
Batham's XXX 6.3%*
Brass Castle Pale Stout 6.4%
Kelham Island Mind Control 6.9%*
Holden's Old Ale 7.2%*
Sarah Hughes Snowflake 8.0%*

It's between the Redwillow Seamless and the Catatonic. A joint venture between Tiny Rebel and Salopian was always likely to be good and this certainly was. It was taken at the Jolly Crispin in Upper Gornal for £3.20.

Desperately quiet for me. We were planning to go to this pub The Ram Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/11012/) bang next door to Burning Sky Brewery. Heigh ho.

Just the three:

Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Deya Steady Rolling Man*
Partners Head 'n' Feed*

All good and I was pleasantly surprised by the Head 'n' Feed.
BOTW Deya Steady Rolling Man. Described as an American Pale Ale on the pump clip and from a brewery new to me. At 5.2% it was exactly as per description and whistled down.

Mallinsons Twin Peaks, so called because it's brewed with Mount Hood & Mount Rainier hops (clever eh!).

A light, hoppy, 4.3% session beer. Slid down very nicely in The Baum.
