To be fair, I can see why the KIT keeps doing so well -if Dave introduced a secret Spinal Tap rating, I'd be giving the place an 11.

Which reminds me that I really must get up to Sheffield again in the New Year.

We're in Sheffield again between Xmas & New Year.

I'll pass my commiserations on to Trevor at the KIT,
he certainly doesn't want his pub "f**ked up" again,
he's made that clear to us on several occasions.

In fact I might just email him to wind him up.

I note that two of these pubs don't have any reviews, and I suspect the converse is that some of our (PuG regulars') own point of view there will be favourites that are under-visited by CAMRA.

Should we have our own POTY award?

I'm planning a visit to The Drovers Rest Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/61027/) when Luton play Carlisle in April.

Nice Idea, bet everyone would come up with something different though.

How judge, though? I guess those of us who replied to your 2015 Mobys thread have named theirs so that's a fair list.

Just checked the reviews and we were impressed with the pub of the year when we were there in November 2013.

Done (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/61027/). And we won 2-1, which was a bonus.
