I see from the stats page that just one pub is now unreviewed in the county after an admirable effort by Quinno 100% is on the cards. Top stuff mate, don't know what the last one is but bite your tongue, wear a hoody and get in and out quick. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Thank you! All part of the 100% Berks Pub Challenge I set myself in January :D

Funnily enough I did my final two last night - Bridge House (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1451/) and Bird in Hand (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/83419/) , a rather nice pair to finish with, I thought (the reviews will go up in a couple of days for the official 100% stat!)

Was an interesting evening dodging fallen trees (we almost came a cropper in one heart-stopping moment, Gordon Kaye got a name-check afterwards) as we then drove down to Lambourn to visit the newly-refurbed Malt Shovel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/70246/)

Potentially there is one more place to do which is currently not listed - a joint called Fishcraft in Eton that's just opened. It's a fish restaurant but apparently has a craft beer wall. So I'll pop in next Friday and see if it meets the required entry standards for a PuG listing...

Ta - we had that down as a stop-off in Eton to see what Paddy and the boys have done to the place :)

Well done Quinno - finished with over a month to spare! (Cue someone adding half a dozen Frankie and Benny's outlet across the county!)

What's next year's challenge going to be? Northern Ireland is looking a bit patchy review-wise!

How many currently closed but not lost yet to still review if they ever reopen?

Based on research:

Red Lion (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1865/)
The Crown Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1819/)
http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1493

Are the only ones closed that look likely to re-open any time soon. But the Challenge expires on December 31st...

Well done Quinno,

A great feat to do all pubs in your home county,

I think your driver also deserves a medal for getting you to all of these pubs.

I certainly wouldn't have been able to do it without Desmond's chauffeuring and love of lemonade! He's a top companion.
