Fake or Fortune

This is a longshot! I was watching the Fake or Fortune programme on Sunday night and there was a Young's pub featured in it - it showed the pub sign and the interior. The pub sign had a gate with a small bird beside the gate - and the sun was shining through the gate (if that makes any sense). I can't make out the pub name from the sign.

It looks like Pimlico/Victoria area, so am wondering did anyone see the programme and recognise the pub? I've been on the Young's site, but that is no help either.

Thanks for your help Rob, but it still isn't the one. I've done street view and it doesn't match the one on the programme. I also phoned up Young's Brewery, but the girl who answered the phone was so rude, it would put you off drinking their beer!

I found the pub just now! Mystery solved The Rising Sun (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/22997/) in Pimlico/Belgravia.

I might actually visit it - now that I've found it.

They've changed the pub sign since the current photographs were taken. I've uploaded a photo I took in May this year - but I still can't see the bird.

I'd get your skates on. It's been worryingly quiet the last few times I've been in. Just our work darts team, the oppo and a very few locals. It's becoming very much a Lights Out London area. Of course it might be mobbed at weekends, we only ever go in weekday evenings. I can't see Young's hanging on to it for ever given the way they operate their estate these days.
