Some very good quality beer this week particularly in Islington on Saturday, best of all was the Brewhouse And Kitchen - Hotblack Desiato, a "Coconut Stout" enjoyed in the very good Brewhouse And Kitchen in Islington, all the beer is brewed in the pub itself and I had tasters of all their beers available on the day and all were top notch.

A very poor week for me :-

Cotleigh Uncle Sam Hop Burst 4.3%
Wadworth's Golden Perch 4.4%
Nottingham Dreadnought 4.5%
Harvey's Copperwheat Beer 4.8%
Sadler's Hop Bomb 5.0%
RCH Double Header 5.3%

The winner by a mile is the Sadler's Hop Bomb. The RCH Double Header was good but not in the same league. I got through more of this than the rest combined. It's a Spoon's guest for the next three months so worth checking out if you have one that looks after the beer.
The Cotleigh beer nearly made the BABOTW, it didn't because I couldn't be bothered to type it all out. It's about as hoppy as a tin of Coca-Cola and if it's an APA then I'm a Vulcan.
It looks like some hot weather is on the way so I will expect some beers that have been ruined by being left out in the heat.

BOTW Sadler's Hop Bomb

Very quiet week for me, this week, with Round2 of moving my daughter's stuff back from London taking up most of the weekend. Need something a bit more cathartic, next week!

Youngs - Bitter.
Sambrooks - Archer Mild.
Purity - Mad Goose.*

Easy winner was the Mad Goose, on fine form, at the ever reliable Tabard, W4.

A good week:

Hart No 1
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Hopcraft Party Line*
Blackjack Aces High*
Hopcraft/Wild Weather Ales - Sunday League Relegation Play-Offs*
Ringwood Boondoggle
Jennings Cockerhoop*
Downton Get Carta
Blakemere Rum Porter*

Enville Enville Ale
Sarah Hughes Tri-Hop*
Hop Back Summer Lightening*
Bathams Bathams Best Bitter*

Some excellent beers there many of which would be BOTW in any other week.
BOTW Hopcraft/Wild Weather Ales - Sunday League Relegation Play-Offs. A daft name, used as a dig at large brewers according their website, but a fantastic 5.5% red IPA.
