Does anyone know if this pub The Alma (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/67225/) is still open or closed,Whatpub say it is now closed but they are not always correct with their information.

I was intending to go in it on Saturday,but dont want to waste my time if it is closed.

Never... When I did Slough earlier this year there were at least 5 vibrant pubs in town.

I don't think that the Rose & Crown (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1870/) is going anywhere soon.

It survived the total concreteification of Slough, so I suspect it'll survive now.

Definitely closed today when I went past. It was sold in Jun for £272000 at auction and is still boarded up. No further details known.
