Greenman & French Horn
WC2N 4EA

This pub should be named the "Green Man & French Horn".

Well, that's what I thought, but the company's website uses the Greenman version (as does most, but not all, of the exterior signage)...

PS - It was also shut the other day when I walked past (which was what made me check the website). Anybody know what's going on?

So it does, rp - thanks for that. How daft - there's no such word as greenman. I was going by the main name of the pub plastered across the front of it (which clearly has green and man as two separate words), reinforced by proper use of the English language. There are pubs called the Green Man the length and breadth of the country. I wonder why they don't call it the Greenman & Frenchhorn? But it's their pub so they can call it what they like. Sorry Conrad - please ignore my proposed name change. But it's still on the other side of the road from where Ben unsworth put the pub marker!

Yep we do suggest that when in doubt go with the sign, and the sign has the merged naming, does look wrong though.

I'll let Dave sort out the marker, he enjoys it ;)
