Oddly enough I was looking at the Crown (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35996/) on here earlier today, and concluded it was probably an Indian restaurant but where you could buy a drink. The latest posting on the other side was by someone who went in because it looked like a pub, found a party/reception in preparation but managed to buy a pint anyway. I suggest you leave it the way it is for the time being, and I'll have a look when I'm next down that way and write it up.

I visited this place yesterday and it is indeed a South Asian restaurant where you can buy a drink. There is a fairly large area (larger than you would need for people just awaiting takeaways) where tables are available for non-diners, and I was not accosted and asked if I was dining with them today! Also, I got a pint of Doom Bar for £2 so I reckon it definitely stays open!
