Yes I believe the local will die out in a lot of areas.You can see it in London In the multi -cultural areas and the estate pubs around the suburbs.You can see it already in Hounslow -Feltham-Uxbridge.Pubs will survive but only if they change with the times.

For a half hour programme, aimed at the general public, I actually thought it was pretty good. However, it would have been nice to see Brigid Simmonds squirm a little more.
