The Three Tuns was at 95 Long Street and became at some stage The Three Tuns Sports Bar (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/36914/). I guess that the pub was once a larger building, incorporating also 93 Long Street. Be that as it may, the name on this pub's page in PuG was at one time changed to Bar 93. This name strongly suggests that it was not in fact at 95 Long Street, so I have changed it back to its previous name. The Three Tuns (No.95) has now become an estate agent's, and the pub was reported as closed. A counter-report from one who has had a drink in Bar 93 recently, suggests that it is in fact open.

Clearly therefore it is No.93 that is open, No.95 being no longer a place for the consumption of alcoholic beverages. I have therefore added a new pub (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/newpubs/28171/) - Bar 93. Can you please move the photo of Bar 93 (by Jonathan Wilde of October 2013) from the Three Tuns photos page to the new pub? (See this image (https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=200975044300437657829.0004d54fe56be46a57cd 3&msa=0&ll=52.577351,-1.546825&spn=0.001829,0.003449) from street view - Bar 93 is what was once Capello's Italian Restaurant - the Three Tuns is next door).

Thanks

No action required - the owner of the photo has now deleted it from 95 and added it to 93. (Thanks, Jon.)

See Al 10000's recent post: http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?20154-Confusion-in-Atherstone

I have now re-closed The Three Tuns Sports Bar. Al was correct, that the request to close it should have been rejected as the building has now gone into different uses.
