Seems a bit of a period piece, perhaps a mix of a 1930s dictionary of brewing terms and the "1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue - A Dictionary of Buckish Slang, University Wit and Pickpocket Eloquence".


It also repeats the myth about Porter being derived from a drink called Three Threads.
