3 visited.

The Harewood Arms is the Green Mill brewery tap.

It's almost as if Green Mill Old Git has won an award.

Guess who mentored Phil & Matt as they were setting the pub up?

Yep, Simon from The Baum.

Just the one,The Surrey Oaks, though as that has just changed hands, I doubt if it will be in the running for next year!

The Five Bells (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1527/)

Kelham Island Tavern (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/56068/)

Surrey Oaks (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35618/)

Beacon Hotel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/38292/)

Bit of grumbling down here about Central Southern (not the pub, btw). There weren't many votes submitted - a better system needs to be worked out. ROB - how does your region do things?

It's the Door Hinge and the Beacon for me. The owner of the Door Hinge was well chuffed about it on my last visit.
How does the voting work? Personally I think there are better West Midland pubs than the Beacon, ones that don't shut in the afternoon.

Surrey Oaks and as my football team will reacquaint themselves this season with Welling I should hit the Door Hinge soon.

The Lamplighter in Jersey is the only one I know, and it's worthy of nomination. It raises again the old chestnut of including Channel Islands, IOM etc on the main site, though I did do a short review of it in the Forum
.

I've been to four:

The Dog & Bone (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/21382/) (reviewed January this year)

Beacon Hotel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/38292/) (on a pub crawl, so not reviewed)

Prince of Wales (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/54837/) (before I started doing pub reviews)

and (of course)

Kelham Island Tavern (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/56068/) (it's only 15 minutes' walk - downhill - from my house)

A big fat zero for me. I'm ashamed to say I've not been to the KIT, in Sheffield.

The Door Hinge is not even the best pub in Kent as of today. Its the Windmill Sevenoaks Kent.Seems like a short lived honour.

This all depends whether you recognise Greater London as a County as I do or if you are more Post Office orientated.
Welling is not in Kent but London as are Twickenham, Croydon and Barnet. I don't care what anyone else says or thinks they are ALL in London full stop!!

The post office doesn't recognise counties at all but goes by postcode. People like putting counties on envelopes but the Royal Mail doesn't take any notice of them. But whatever you do you'll end up in a mess. If you're going to have Berkshire in any classification you're using 'ceremonial counties' and end up putting Sevenoaks in Kent if you want consistency.

The Harewood is run by the guys from Green Mill brewery.

The landlord of a certain local of mine advised them how to do things when they opened up.

Looks like it worked. :p

I have only been in the Freshfield, many years ago when my sister lived in Southport. It was a good pub then.

It was only just getting re-going when I last went in five years ago, but a friend of mine goes there often and rates it very highly.

Been to the Salutation in Ham, always seems to be selected for awards as it was on the pre bump list.
