Another pretty good week.

Burning Sky -- Aurora
Burning Sky -- Plateau
Kent Brewery -- Cobnut
Grain -- Best Bitter

Siren Song /Wychwood -- Session IPA

BOTW goes to Burning Sky Aurora,an exceptional APA in the Holborn Whippet, and just about pint of the year so far.

Leamington,Knowle and Brum make up the next bit of boating and should deliver many contenders next week.

Kent and Norfolk:
Shepherd Neame-Early Bird 4.35abv. Hoppy, but with a metallic afternote.
Harveys-Sussex Best Bitter 4%avb.Unimpeacheable.
Adnams-Mosaic Pale ale 4.1%abv. Poor condition.Interesting tropical fruit flavours but a disassociation between hop and malt.Disappointing.
Old Dairy-Spring Top 4%abv A really good Kentish Pale Ale. Peppery hops.
Adnams-Oyster Stout 4.3%abv. A good dark'un,with that seaweedy tang that I don't often find in Adnams any more.
Woodefords-Wherry. 3.8%abv. Old school bitter-earthy biscuits.
Adnams-Southwold Bitter 3.7%abv. I often forget how much I like this;old fashioned bitter with an east coast tang.
Very close call between the Oyster Stout and the Spring Top.Old Dairy Spring Top my BOTW

BOTW is going to be Rat Mother Rat tried in The Ashton Arms (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/12907/) very dark and porterish.

I had a pint of it and was most impressed and then tried a different beer that I hadn't had before.

But I couldn't leave without having another half of the Mother Rat.
