I thought I might start this one as there's a lot of scope, London Murky, railway arches, overpriced cloudy p155 (oh; we've done that one) woolley hats, beards, bandwagon jumping by the usual and not so usual suspects, and so on.
On the basis that what happens in the USA today happens here tomorrow try this one......

Progress is impossible without change and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything

Hey dudes! This (http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/weird-beard-decadence-stout/208708/) is pretty awesome.
I was slightly put off by the brewer's description ("Stouts should be thick and full bodied due to how you brew them, not because you serve them with nitrogen. get away from the metallic notrokegged stouts and have a little bit of decadence in the glass. Multiple grain types and precise brewing leave decadence stout with an opulent mouthfeel and generous head. Rich with chocolate and coffee roast flavours with just a touch of oat creaminess. Treat yourself!") but persevered enough to not only buy it but also to drink it. Haven't seen it in draught, but would recommend the bottle if you can find it.

Came across the draught version at The Harp (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/53779/) the other day; and, although I hadn't read it at the time, the brewer's blurb about "an opulent mouthfeel and generous head. Rich with chocolate and coffee roast flavours with just a touch of oat creaminess" is spot on. Nice pint.

I see the brewer has toned down his tasting notes. One of the first meet the brewer nights for this brewer was at my local. He was asked by the landlady for some description of the beer thinking like ipa with type of hops etc. He said something along the lies of melon.pine.tractor tires, citrus rusty buckets with a hint of mint. She wrote on the board ipa.
