As those who attended the recent PuG bash in Leeds will know, the city already has a fair number of very good pubs. However, the opening of Tapped Leeds* in the last few days makes it even better. It's run by the same team behind the York, Sheffield and Euston taps. (I guess the name Leeds Tap was avoided to avoid confusion with Leeds Brewery Tap.) It's billed as an American style craft beer bar with 13 cask 'taps', 13 craft keg 'taps' and 100 world bottled beers. An on site decoction brewery is also promised. Home made pizzas are also available. Sounds excellent. I'll be visiting ASAP.

It may be 'cos it's not at the station, unlike a few stops up the line where from Wednesday night (18th Dec) you can find the Harrogate Tap :D (details already suggested)

Me too, but I'll be in the Harrogate Tap on Wednesday:cheers:, I might be in Leeds on Sunday as I'm off to Bradford for a SPBW meeting and as it's near Foster Sq station I might be going by train.

Hope you enjoyed the Harrogate Tap 'ob'. Regarding the trains on Sunday, I suspect they're going to be seriously rammed. Heading into Leeds last weekend, mine was so crowded they weren't letting people on at some stations. Good luck with that one.

Surely, another reason to come back soon BF? :)
