We have corrected the name of The Beacon (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/32674/) and deleted Royal George, someone can re-add it if it really existed.

Cheers Conrad i have looked all over and can find no trace , there have been 20 odd pubs closed/demolished in Ironbridge over the last 30 years or so(amazing when you consider the size of the place , its tiny) and none match .
Some searchs bring up the Royal George in Shifnal which has a similar address so maybe its a crossover
