Whole list of closures here
http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/General-News/Bramwell-Pub-Company-sites-up-for-sale-through-Christie-Co
some may well want deleting from PuG but I guess local knowledge needed
From a personal view point, the loss of any pub is not good, but The Lanyard (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/59786/) has a nice real ale one just two doors away

I was going to start a thread on this yesterday when Christie & Co sent me an email.
The majority of the businesses on the list ceased trading on Friday 1st November.

Apparently there is more to this than just the ones listed in the link. There are three pubs on the outskirts of NE London up for sale according to the local CAMRA website The Obelisk (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/66155/) in Chingford, The Traveller's Friend (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/52489/) at Woodford Green and The Warren Wood (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/11353/) on the outskirts of Buckhurst Hill. The Obelisk is just a shop conversion so would be no great loss but the Warren Wood and the Traveller's are both nice old pubs. The Traveller's has been in the GBG for many years and is one of the CAMRA Heritage pubs.

According to the local rag the Traveller's has been bought up by a pair of local businessmen. It seems a bit unclear whether thay have also bought the Warren Wood or if it's one of the Stonegate ones.

We walked past the Old Restoration yesterday in the High Street on the opposite side of the road to the Strand and Sandford Park Alehouse that we did go into. It was open.
Here are two saved in Hampshire
"Toby Smith, CEO of Stonegate said: ‘We are delighted to have concluded the purchase of two Hampshire pubs – the Redbridge in Andover and the Vanguard in Fareham"

I have poked my head in the door of the Vanguard and swiftly left, not my sort of pub
