bit of fun but surprisingly accurate,

I found most of the questions completely unintelligible. But somehow it pegged me as belonging somewhere around London, which is fair enough I suppose.

Apparently I'm 100% Northern and from somewhere around Newcastle!!

Even I'm quite a way south of there.

I was in the English Channel at one point but pulled it back to 25% Northern, around London, I am 40 miles SW of that but still pretty close.

I'm 74% Northern, which must be about right. 27 years living down here must have some consequences I suppose.

Well it has me somewhere around Bournemouth, which given I am near Portsmouth, but on the Channel coast I guess is Fairy Snuff

I am 12% Northern, but a bit to the East of Bournemouth, although I was there on a weekend break a fortnight ago, maybe some of it rubbed off?

Apparently I live in Jersey, presumably they think I'm Bergerac. I'm guessing if I had said pear cider instead of mild I would be in the South of France. They didn't provide an option to select all three.

It's all well and good but people really need to answer honestly, for example the first question, if you haven't had chips AND gravy this week then you clearly haven't had chips at all. This is due to the ambiguity of the question which does not insist that both items are served together ( although they quite clearly should be). Assuming one has not had chips all week it is however implausible that you could get through without gravy as clearly it is a requisite of all meals.

London, which I consider to be fairly Northern. Well' it's north of the North Downs.

Any Northerner would surely not have seen any ambiguity in 'chips and gravy'. Unfortunately I must have lost 27% of my northernness by having to admit I haven't had the dish for more than a year. Resulting in me probably coming from Hull, which I suppose is not too far off the correct distance North!

Ramsbottom was the furthest North I got before emigrating to Wales!

"20% northern - That's somewhere around London."

Not sure where the 20% came from, but I spent recent weekends in Leeds and Sheffield so perhaps a bit of northern-ness rubbed off..

Amazingly, I only scored 85%. Like Oggy, I was placed near York. I'll have to put it down to the seven years I spent living in London.

So nothing to do with all the years you've spent in Wakefield then?

York, Wakefield & doorstep spring to mind. :p
