In case you're wondering about my earlier post today, it was part of Boak and Bailey's Long Posts project (http://boakandbailey.com/2013/09/long-posts-from-around-the-blogoshire/).
It's an unfinished chapter from my giant book on the history of British beer from 1700 to 1973. If you look closely, you'll see that some sections are incomplete or even totally misisng. And some of it is just notes.
I hope you enjoy it, for all its imperfections.
