The beer list for The Three Pigeons, Banbury this weekend is :-
Wadworth 6X
Black Sheep Bitter
Shepherd Neame Spitfire
Shepherd Neame Bishops Finfer
Wells & Youngs Bombadier
Molson Coors Sharps Doom Bar
Purity Gold
Hook Norton Hooky.

No rush, there is plenty left.

Bit like the one I encountered at Llandoger Trow in Bristol a few years ago!

Though to be fair, Bishops Finfer is one for the scoopers, yes?

I can trump that. In a local Hungry horse yesterday (as The Famous Eccles would say, "Everybody's gotta be somewhere") there was a load of bunting and posters promoting their "Best Beer Fest" Given they have just one seldom used handpump dispensing GK IPA (most punters go for Wifebeater) I wondered what form it woulld take.

Further investigation revealed the following

http://www.bestbeerfest.co.uk/festival-beers/ .. GK IPA, San Miguel, Coors Light, Budweiser.....one or two high spots but I'm surprised Dark Star wanted to be associated with such company.

I dunno. It's a sale anyway, and if it converts a few wifebeater drinkers away from keg rubbish, all to the good.(As long as it is sold in drinkable condition...)

I was going to say, "I bet the Dark Star sold out first!" but then thinking of the type of drinker that this festival was likely to attract, I bet they had to sell it off cheap at the end, with Budweiser coming out the clear winner!
