The Dugin (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/50750/) should be Dug Inn, according to the one remaining sign. The car park has the skeletal remains of some other signs that have been removed, whether by human agency or by the wind I wouldn't know. There is a tatty rope across the car park entrance. (It looked much the same yesterday when I cycled past as it does in this Google street view (https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=TD1+2NB&hl=en&ll=55.811385,-2.985505&spn=0.001751,0.003449&sll=52.8382,-2.327815&sspn=7.713925,14.128418&t=h&hnear=Galashiels+TD1+2NB,+United+Kingdom&z=18&layer=c&cbll=55.811385,-2.985505&panoid=SOFmcmArkX86av4d8w6jPQ&cbp=12,29.54,,0,8.07) from 2009.) There is no attempt to encourage trade, which makes me think that the place has closed down - after all, it's miles from anywhere, and if there's no passing trade, who's going to be drinking there? (I didn't try to get a drink - it was only 10.30 and I still had 70 miles to cycle!)
