Not sure that the word "pub" is necessary in the name of The Frankenstein Pub (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/64695/). OK, their webiste is www.frankenstein-pub.co.uk, but that's just to distinguish it from all the other Frankensteins out there in Googleland. On the pub itself, as the picture (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubpictures/64695/) shows, the signage says Frankenstein (preceded by "the world famous" and followed by "1818", I grant you, but the intention surely is that the name "Frankenstein" stands out), the word "pub" being nowhere in sight.
