The Room in Barnsley

I'm confused about this one (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/33577/). The original listing on PuG was Barnsley Beer Emporium, but this was changed following a review posted 2nd June 2007, saying that it was now The Room. On Google, searching for "Room Eldon Street Barnsley" results in a photo of The Blue Room (https://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=Room+Eldon+Street+barnsley&oq=Room+Eldon+Street+barnsley&gs_l=serp.3...3755.3755.0.3941.1.1.0.0.0.0.75.75.1 .1.0.eappsweb..0.0...1.1.8.psy-ab.yKeH2RHCIlc&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&fp=a7034d10d8282623&biw=1024&bih=606), which is on Wellington St, and a reference to The Room at 9-11 Pitt St (https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=S70+2HP&hl=en&ll=53.551964,-1.482714&spn=0.00039,0.001725&sll=53.550069,-1.475845&sspn=0.000864,0.001725&t=h&hnear=S70+2HP,+United+Kingdom&z=19&layer=c&cbll=53.551964,-1.482715&panoid=wZU5tajblWmk5kpUX4Gxig&cbp=11,291.85,,0,-1.51), which is a hairdressing salon. I've got to admit this looks an awful lot like a former pub to me. Meanwhile, the address of Barnsley Beer Emporium at 25 Eldon St is now occupied by Garys Fisheries & Takeaway. Maybe someone who has been to the Beer Emporium will recognise this building (https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=S70+2HP&hl=en&ll=53.553653,-1.479008&spn=0.000781,0.003449&sll=53.551964,-1.482714&sspn=0.000864,0.001725&t=h&hnear=S70+2HP,+United+Kingdom&z=18&layer=c&cbll=53.553652,-1.479007&panoid=fKYsXn3Q1Jv70Derzwr--A&cbp=11,144.54,,0,-7.98), which is a lot less publike than 9-11 Pitt St.

So, either The Room (hairdresser rather than pub) is what was once Barnsley Beer Emporium but was at 9-11 Pitt St S70 1AL, or Barnsley Beer Emporium, at 25 Eldon St, is now Gary's Fisheries. Unless there's an alternative I haven't thought of. :confused:

Yep that is pretty confusing. Since I don't think we can be certain about anything related to this place I reckon the best option is to remove the listing - certainly the least confusing option!
