While changing trains in Derby one day last week I noticed, on my way back from a swift half at the Station Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/7230/), that there was a new sign advertising the Bar (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/68735/) inside the station itself. "HEROS", it proudly proclaimed, an interesting amalgam of Heroes and Eros: neither one thing nor the other. I made a mental note to take a photo for Pubs Galore next time I was there.
Saturday came and there I was in Derby again. No time for even a swift half, but time enough for the photo. But the new-looking notice was gone, presumably sent back to the signwriter for shame-faced correction. Will it be Heroes or will it be Eros, I thought idly, while wandering towards the Bar entrance in hope of further information. Several much smaller signs give this place the name The Derby Hero, so I took my photo and caught my train.
Please amend as appropriate.
