I wasn't going to bother with this, but my inner pedant insisted. The internal capital F in the name of the Ox-Fford (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/52763/) in Macclesfield just doesn't look right. The signage doesn't help, as that's caps throughout. In Welsh street names (such as Ffordd y Brenin) the capitalisation of the intial F is correct, but in the middle of a hyphenated pub name I don't see any justification. OK, it's written that way on Marstons own website (http://www.marstonspubcompany.co.uk/pubs/view/17079) (but only in the headline, not the text) and several other listings website also have it, but I think we should go along with The Sun (http://directory.thesun.co.uk/15454568) on this one (never thought I would have to type that - may have to go for a lie down).

Hmmm, I can't argue with your logic but I'm not sure it looks better. Have corrected it to Ox-fford (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/52763/) anyway
