Planning a trip to Norwich soon.

As it's my first visit, I could do with some guidance on the 'must do' pubs

We did Norwich last month, and did all 15 of the Good Beer Guide pubs and had a fantastic few days.

Our favourites were, Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Ketts Tavern (Norwich Bear Tap), Plough (Grain Tap), Duke of Wellington (stillage selection), Vine (Thai food), it is difficult as they all had something going for them.

The others are, Beehive, Cottage, Fat Cat, Gate House, King's Arms, King's Head, Murderers/Gardeners Arms, Take 5, Trafford Arms, White Lion.

Cheers for that info Gill. It's good that the Norwich Festival is on whilst we're there - I've wanted to taste Humpty Dumpty beers for ages, so I'll get my hands on it at last!

Hope you and Ray enjoyed the Nottingham Fest!

Nottingham was fantastic. Loads of new breweries to try and a massive hit list, so knowing we couldn't possibly drink them all, we enjoyed choosing beers from the tasting notes rather than just wanted beers for a change. It is a great social occasion too with folks we know from all over the place. Three superb days.

Enjoy Norwich fest. We did it about 3 years on the trot, but have missed a couple of years now. It's a great venue.
