Mystery of the Closure of the Brown Lion, Hockley

Birmingham's only tap house, the Brown Lion has suddenly closed. Our local paper has run this story;

I presume they ran out of money.

Reads to me like one of the partners has left, the remaining one didn't want to have to manage the pub as well as the brewery, so he's offloaded the pub back to Enterprise Inns, who either haven't decided what to do with it, have someone lined up to take it on who's not available yet, or just haven't got their act together, so they've just closed it whilst they sort this out.
