The 'Big' Angel - Whitby

This massive pub has a prominent position on the harbour front, and yet it has failed and closed down. I think its been closed for ages now.

There were rumours that Wetherspoons had bought it, but whenever I go to Whitby, its still closed and no work is being done on it.

Does anyone know what the future holds for this pub?
