He'd die of apoplexy if he went in a Wetherspoons.

Oooh that is aggravating. SSP who run station bars make their staff do that. And if you do succumb you don't, for some obscure reason, get the BiTE card discount on crisps and nuts.
And of course :twigs: :twigs: :twigs: 's :D

When at the bar with the wife and get asked "what can i get you guys today".
Quibbling when you ask for a top-up of a short measure.
Overflowing pint glass plonked on bar without any attempt to provide a beer mat or similar item to stop the dribbles & puddle

Taking an 'off pint' back to the bar. Having the bar man say 'Yes, it seems off to me, but I must refer it to the Manager'. Then having the Manager say, 'Nope. Its fine. No refund or replacement.'
My group and I got up and went to a different pub where we spent our £200.00 on food and drink!

Which pub? I think we need to know!

But not as annoying as:

Bennetts, Bennetts Hill, Birmingham City Centre. It was a 'real' Banks's Bitter. I mean, how can you get it so wrong?
It was a Sunday night when England were playing in the Euros. Bennetts has a massive screen, but that night the projector had failed and only a few people were in, huddled around wall mounted ordinary sized tv screens. They needed the custom that night.
We went to Colmore Bar and Grill where the beer was better, Hobgoblin and Purity UBU, and the surroundings much nicer - even though its just a hotel bar!
But not as annoying as:
It is when it dribbles on your trousers and everyone thinks you have p11ssed your self
