These two pubs are actually in North Yorkshire although the post code is Leeds and the post town is Otley.

The village of Pool in Wharfedale is in West Yorks but this pub is over the river and so is in North Yorks

Just to confuse you the other pubs in the village are in West Yorkshire.

The village of Askwith and its pub are in North Yorks,

We wouldn't of had any trouble if they'd kept the West Riding

Hi ob,

I am a bit stuck on the Hunters Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/41015/), for the moment pubs go into the counties of their towns/villages, we may change it, but it is one of these things that just seems to get sillier each time we correct it (they used to be stuck with their postal town's county), with the next problem being that you have pubs in more than 1 county :).

I have however moved Askwith (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/towns/askwith/north-yorkshire/) to North Yorks, that is no problem.

Thanks for those.

I thought Pool might be like that so I would just leave it where it is. The other alternative would be to move it to a place called Riffa but I don't think anyone would be able to find it there.

I think the best bet is as you say is to leave it, the odd wrong county seems in some ways inevitable given how many different ways of looking at counties there are.
