Unless there's a last minute challenger its going to be Dark star Victorian Ruby Mild.
Its better to be drunk and fall ,than never have drunk at all (mobyduck):bemerry:

As I suspected ,a last minute change of beer has stole the day. Dark Star Hophead, possibly my favorite beer of all time has won it for me this week.:)

Quieter week after last weeks excess:D

Blue Bee - Nectar Pale
Empire - Fastnet
Rudgate - Nordic Storm
Wentworth - Chocolate Chilli Stout
Rowton - Starlight
Harbour - Amber
Three Tuns - Jubilation

BOTW Rudgate - Nordic Storm

The Wentworth Choc chilli stout was a very good stout but had way to much chilli which killed the flavour like having a way too hot curry

From these 4:
Oakham Bishops Farewell and Inferno
Marstons Old Empire IPA
Purity Mad Goose

All these were good but BOTW is Oakham Inferno.

The Nags Head (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1691/) had Windsor & Eton Kohinoor on during the Jubilee music quiz (Gilbey played a song from each year of the 50 on the pub's piano - our team Aztec CAMRA came 2nd :) ) so that's this week's easy winner. At least four pints went down amongst others... :bemerry:

A poor week on the beer front, with another short visit to Bateman's country where XB seems to crop up just about everywhere. As a result BOTW was Sharp's Doom Bar,I know that's a pretty ordinary choice, but it was the best I could find.Consumed in The Mall,Woodhall Spa.

Wittenden

Beer tents week:
Old Dairy-Copper Top.A dark chestnut best bitter:farmyard, roasted root vegetables.

It's a straight fight this week between two beers enjoyed on an extended crawl of Brighton on Saturday - Dark Star Summer Solstice in the Victory Inn and Brodies Old Street Pale Ale in the Evening Star. Tough call, but I think the Dark Star just gets the nod.

A much better week, this week, after the last two dismal showings. Tried this week:

Brown Cow - Jubilee Bitter.
Thwaites - Torch Light.
Conwy - Mulberry Dark.
Loddon - Hllaballoo.
Acorn - Legend.
Marstons - Father Time.
Jennings - Tom Fool.
Roosters - Buckeye.
Pictish - Black Diamond.
Saltaire - Elderflower Blonde.
Salamander - Gun Jumper.
Rat - Bubonic Stout.
Highland - St Magnus.
Brew Co - Crystallised.
Dark Star - American Pale Ale.
Fernandes - Triple O.
Ossett - Citra.
Navigation - Stout.
Fernandes - Jackdaw MILD.
Raw - Hop Ale.

Honorable mentions for the Torch Light and Elderflower Blonde, but the Buckeye blew me away. Lots of American and New Zealand hops give it bags of flavour and aroma for a 3.5% beer. Lovely stuff.

It would appear Roosters are on a bit of a roll. 'oldboots' recently nominated Leghorn for BOTW and 'Pubsignman' chose Yankee as his last week. Any doubts I had about the Fozard brothers taking over from the Franklins, have now evaporated.

I was lucky enough to encounter Greensand IPA at the Farnham Beerex this year it was sensational.

Marble - Draft in the Old Mill Inn in Chinley in the Peak District was totally on form but was also in battle with..
a. n. other beer in the Angel Inn in the Northern Quarter in Manchester..

so since I can't remember what on earth it was called the Draft is the winner :D

Well, after a week in Menorca, the choice for BOTW is limited.

WE were due to land at 14:30 in the afternoon, but a 5 hour dealy scuppered that idea.

This meant that the intended few beers in The Baum had to be very truncated, but at least we still got there for a couple.

BOTW will be Jennings Queen Bee. A very pleasant session ale at 3.6% despite the added honey, that I'm not normally a fan of.
