Thursday sees the start of one of the more innovative festivals about locally when Milnsbridge Social Club are hosting their first 'Beer and Pork Pie' festival. Sounds just up my street !
There will be 30 ales on offer from various interesting breweries, some of which are rare in these parts, such as Scarborough, Hunters, and Nelsons, and all will hopefully be St Georges themed. They will be paired with 15 pies, all chosen to complement the different styles of beer available.
The club is at 42 Bankwell Rd, in Milnsbridge, (HD3 4LU for the sat nav literate amongst us). and the event runs through till Sunday.
Sounds like another festival not to miss !!
