This looks like one of the better "__ best pubs" lists for those in the London area:

In the unlikely chance I get five spare minutes, I'll try working out how many I've been to...

I've been in 22.Time Out have produced a reasonably good list of interesting London pubs, and this has thrown up a couple of ideas for the "to do" list.

Oh dear, only 2.

But I can only count 48 on the list, so where are the other 2?

Looks like 20 for me and some good additions to my capital hit-list!

13 for me, but none in the last two years due to lack of funding by The Home Office etc.

23 for me... There are some on there that I wonder how I've missed them. Others must have changed since my visit as I didn't rate them at the time.

19 for me, thought I'd have done a few more than that, but a couple or so good ones not high up on my radar there, so hopefully the count will increase very soon.

Just the 9, I'm afraid.

Can't argue with that. I need to organise my visit to the Wenlock, though - the clock's ticking there, isn't it?

Surprised the Bricklayer's in Putney didn't make the list.

20 for me, mainly from the Central and North London list. I keep promising myself a weekend trawling around the South London boozers.

Looks like 23 for me, with lots of gaps in North and East London...

Definately 28 for me although there may be a couple more I may have been in some years ago. Certainly food for thought and a good list to plan around.

I am always on the look out for pubs that have changed towards an adventurous real ale bias and the two on the Time Out list which caught my eye and which I really should pay a visit are these :

Queens Head ,nr Kings Cross (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/53707/) .The Time Out review talks about a "little neighbourhood pub" with an "inspired beer selection " from the likes of Kernel,Meantime,Redemption and Camden Town together with "esoteric ales".

Railway Tavern Ale House (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/25636/) ,Kingsland . Time Out states that the pub is owned by the same people who own The Pineapple ,Kentish Town and thats recommendation enough for me.Once again this pub seems to have changed since the last review. The Ale House addition to the name is mentioned in the TO review.

Time Out also lists The Palm Tree which most definitely hasn't changed, a pub bordering The Regents Canal by Mile End Park which thwarted Mr Phat and I recently by not opening at a Tuesday lunchtime ,but it does look a real gem from the outside and is also on my to do list.

Was in the Bricklayers in Putney on Friday where they have posters up regarding their 3rd place spot in the National Geographic Best Pubs in England 2012 list. Had to see what else was in the list. Not sure I agree with it but for your perusal... http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/top-10/english-pubs/

I'm glad they managed to find the Green Tree in Bath - we didn't! Though in fairness, we should have done that toward the beginning rather than at the end!

But it's a good excuse to go back!
